Saturday, June 16, 7:30 p.m. Messaien’s “Quartet for the End of Time” - West Virginia Chamber Ensemble Violin, Cello, Clarinet, Piano Olivier Messaien’s apocalyptic work was composed and first performed in the Stalag VIII prison camp in 1941.
