Lei Huo and Richard Hancock
Since leaving
her native China to accept a full scholarship at the Peabody Institute,
violinist Lei Hou has enjoyed great success in the United States.
Now with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lei Hou was previously Principal
Second Violin with the National Symphony Orchestra under Mstislav Rostropovich.
She
has performed solo and chamber music at numerous music festivals including
Tanglewood, El Paso, Sun Valley, and Ravinia where she performed with Pinchas
Zuckerman. Accompanist Richard Hancock, also a graduate of Peabody
Institute, now teaches there. |
